Tuesday 16 January to Thursday 18 January, 2018

On Monday 15 January, 2018, ZEITmagazin and VOGUE will be co-hosting the seventh edition of the ‘Fashion & Style’ ZEITmagazin & VOGUE Conference in the Kronprinzenpalais. Once again, we are looking forward to listening to and seeing high-profile speakers and experts from the fashion industry.

After six successful seasons, the BERLINER SALON group exhibition will be returning to the programme and is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 16 January, 2018, from 1 pm to 6 pm. The curated presentation of highlight looks, key pieces and design objects, with all the designers in attendance, is unique: it gives buyers and press representatives the chance to talk directly to players in the world of fashion. The definitive list of participating designers will be announced in the coming weeks.

Parallel to the group exhibition, the VOGUE Salon will be taking place on the second floor of the neoclassical Kronprinzenpalais. This talent development initiative was launched in 2011 by editor-in-chief Christiane Arp, who is also a co-founder of the BERLINER MODE SALON. At this event, selected design talents from German-speaking countries will present their latest collections.

As part of the BERLINER SALON, the labels ISABEL VOLLRATH, MARINA HOERMANSEDER, ODEEH, PERRET SCHAAD, STRENESSE, and WILLIAM FAN will be presenting their latest creations for Autumn | Winter 2018 | 2019 in défilés and presentations, both at the Kronprinzenpalais as well as at off-site locations, from Tuesday 16 to Thursday 18 January, 2018. STRENESSE, who will be kicking off the défilés and presentations, will also be returning to Berlin with its own presentation slot following its participation in the group exhibition this July.

Beauty looks for the group exhibition, défilés and presentations will be co-created by the BERLINER SALON’s partner CATRICE in collaboration with the designers. The make-up looks will be based on a wide variety of colours taken from current and classic influences, high-quality materials, luxurious textures and innovative formulations. The cosmetics brand is dedicated to supporting established designer labels and up-and-coming German designers by establishing long-term collaborations, such as the partnerships it has set up with Marina Hoermanseder and Malaikaraiss.
