PB 0110 AT LE BON MARCHÉ
From 30th October to 19th November, PB 0110 and the historic Parisian department store Le Bon Marché will be running a pop-up shop on the ground floor of the store. When working on the design of the shop, which will cover an area of 5m2 in the store’s bag department and is inspired by the idea of a market stand, Philipp Bree was able to secure the support of the Japanese designer Yusuke Seki. “The topic that we have considered is extremely fitting: au marché. I thought that a modern interpretation of a market stand would very much suit the attractive and elegant interior of the store”, explains the DBMS designer.
Alongside products from its current Autumn/Winter 2017 collection, the label will also showcase pieces from its upcoming Spring/Summer 2018 range. PB 0110 will also further emphasise the modern market-stand setting by offering two different card cases that can be embossed on site by the illustrator Martin Fengler, whose stunning and extremely precise drawings can often be found in the German magazines ZEITmagazin and SZ-Magazin. When selecting their case design, customers will be able to choose between a wide variety of different fruits and vegetables.
Anyone planning on spending time in Paris in the near future should be sure to check out this exclusive pop-up shop!
