On Tuesday, DER BERLINER SALON is launching the first edition of its t-shirt, which will be presented as part of the group exhibition. Featuring a striking print on the front and the names of participating Salon designers on the back, the shirt – designed by ‘lala Berlin‘ designer Leyla Piedayesh – captures the current trend in fan shirts and band merchandise. Only a few fashion labels succeed in capturing the spirit of the German capital in such an authentic way – adventurous and contemporary. For every sale made, 10 euros will be donated to the ‘Be an Angel’ foundation, a charity and funding project for refugees which is particularly close to the designer’s heart:

‘DER BERLINER SALON is an institution, Berlin Fashion Week would be unimaginable without it. I am delighted to be designing the first Limited Edition t-shirt, complete with names of the participating designers. We are a tight-knit community that sticks together, which makes me all the happier not only to be able to contribute to German fashion, but also to support a cause that is close to my heart.’ – Leyla Piedayesh

DER BERLINER SALON chose to use a German location for the production. You can now pre-order your Edition I t-shirt here. The official sale starts on 22 January 2018.
